Preview - Broccoli City Festival

Back for it's third year, Broccoli City Festival hits Gateway DC Pavilion on April 25, 2015 in celebration of Earth Day. Broccoli City is a lifestyle group that promotes a healthy, sustainable living, specifically in inner cities where that option may not be available. With a constant passion to push our communities to a better living, #BCFest is only one of the many ways that this group gives back. Not only does this festival feature yoga and fitness instruction, healthy food vendors, a body wellness center, a live art gallery, and educational information, but also some of the most iconic names in Hip-Hop and R&B music right now. Check out who we're most excited to see below.

Ras Nebyu is a DC native by way of Ethiopia. I was introduced to him through collaborations with local collectives like Hostile Youth and Kool Klux Klan. Listen to "TIME" below.

One hottest rappers out of Chicago right now, Tink, will also be making an appearance this year. She's been on our rader since producer Timbaland admitted that Aaliyah gave her the cosign via his dreams this year at South By Southwest. Check out "Don't Tell Nobody" featuring Jeremih below.

It's no secret that we're huge fans of Willow Smith here at Capitol Sound.
