Our Latest Obsession - The Preatures

The Preatures are a five piece band from Sydney, Australia that are already making waves in the music scene. They have played mind-blowing sets at festivals such as Glastonbury, Bonaroo, SXSW, and Coachella, and have performed their single "Is This How You Feel" on Jimmy Kimmel. As if that wasn't enough, they've opened for big name artists such as Pink and the Rolling Stones.

Jack Moffitt (guitarist) and Tom Champion (bassist) met in high school. They met vocalist and keyboard player Isabella at the Australian Institute of Music in 2008 and officially formed a band under the name "The Preachers" after meeting guitarist and vocalist Gideon Bensen and drummer Luke Davison in 2010. After changing their name to The Preatures in 2012 because of legal complications, the band released their first EP, Shaking Hands. Although they have released six singles from 2012 to 2014, and two EPS: one in 2012 and one in 2013, their first full release was Blue Planet Eyes, dropping on September 30th, 2014 in the USA.

Although The Preatures are mostly performing overseas thus far, it is abundantly clear that Australia's best keep secret won't be a secret for long.
