widespread panic The first time that I wrote about the Nashville band Koa was about a year ago. It was my first interview ever and although it was lengthy, it remains one of my favorite interviews to date. That day in November, Conor Kelly, the band's guitarist told me about his love of the Allman Brothers Band -- "From a guitar playing perspective, I would say that I’m most influenced by the Allman Brothers Band."

And now, on Sunday, September 6th at 11:30 PM, Conor will be playing guitar alongside former Allman Brothers' guitar player Jack Pearson. Conor, Jack, and some other musicians will be playing the Allman Brothers' album Live at the Fillmore East in its entirety at Nashville's own legendary Mercy Lounge.

If you're in Nashville on Sunday, be sure to stop on by. You can purchase your tickets here.
