Calling All Creatives

Capitol Sound DC is looking to add two writers and two videographers to our team! 

In short, we host showcases and cover live music events in Washington, DC and beyond. Coverage can range from show previews, to show reviews, to interviews, to visual and multimedia show recaps. We aim to maintain a diverse team to reflect well-rounded coverage on our site.

Responsibilities include...

• Reporting on and researching local music
• Meeting deadlines for requested and assigned live show coverage
• Pitching album, video, or single reviews
• Executing phone and on-site artist interviews
• Participating in creative content strategy and expansion at monthly contributor meetings
• Completing various assigned duties
