Capitol Sound DC Presents: Bbymutha at Songbyrd

DC-based music blog, Capitol Sound DC is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its first show at Songbyrd on December 8th where Chatanooga rapper, Bbbymutha will make her DC debut.

After becoming a mother to two sets of twins at a young age, Brittnee Moore reclaimed the name “Bbymutha” as a f**k you to those who used it against her. Bbymutha is raw, authentic, and witty and her lyrics provide a guide-to-life for girls and gays alike.

Placed over the grimiest of vogue ballroom beats (courtesy of San Francisco queer progressives Molly House Records and London-based duo God Colony), her music has gotten the attention of The Fader, Brooklyn Vegan, Mass Appeal, Ravelin Magazine, and more.

With support from Jessicunt (MD) and Opal (VA), Bbymutha's DC debut at Songbyrd will be an unforgettable evening of empowerment, sexiness, and a whole lot of sweat.
