Long before the currently looming pandemic brought all live music events (and, frankly, the whole world) to a halt, we at Capitol Sound were thrilled to see the incredibly talented Sudan Archives at Union Stage as a part of our coverage of artists headed to Austin for SXSW 2020.

While we heartbroken over all of the spring and summer cancellation announcements, especially the unprecedented cancellation of this year’s SXSW, we’re grateful that uniquely dynamic Sudan Archives was the last show we were able to cover before all D.C. venues closed almost three weeks ago.
